Silence is a Bully’s Best Friend Video

In my “How to be a Super Hero” (end bullying) storytelling for children I walk the kids through word definitions they already know like “Witness” and “Silent” and lead them to the definition of ACQUIESCEto accept, agree, or allow something to happen by staying silent.  “When you witness bullying or read it online or on your phone – even if you disagree – if you don’t say anything you look like you agree with what is happening or being said. The bully thinks you are on their side. And to the person being bullied the meanness of one becomes many or a gang making them feel incredibly isolated.” Without words this 30 second video says it all.
